Family Therapy First Intake Session

Service Description

At Held Heart Healing, your family relationships functioning better and your family meeting your goals is my top priority. That is why I take the process of you beginning therapy seriously. Family therapy services begin with a rigorous intake session where I take the time to understand your unique history, family situation, relevant life experiences, and treatment goals as well as to conduct any necessary assessments. This session is significantly longer and involves a great deal of my out-of-session time to work on my part in crafting a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. With our first intake session, we’ll work together to create a roadmap towards your healing journey and make sure that I am not missing anything that is important for my ability to support you to reach your goals in therapy. Session can include non-directive play therapy for very young people, and a mix of modalities for individuals of all ages. * This is a 90 minute session- please plan accordingly.

To cancel or reschedule, please contact me 24 hours in advance. Appointments must be cancelled 24 hours or more in advance in order to receive a reimbursement.
